| | So I while I was sitting down starring at my ceiling earlier today a thought came up in my head: it's easier to see a hot chick with a not so hot dude than vice versa. I of course, tied it all to biology.
In order to keep the species going, women must not be as picky in choosing a mate, this includes looks. Many times I have walked around cafeterias seeing good looking blonde chicks with good bodies attached to an okay looking chubby dude. Now, I'm not saying that we should all be shallow and settle only for someone who's on the same scale of looks, just that personality isn't always everything. Perhaps it is that girls can get past looks and even claim they're more mature, but I like to tie this in with what evolution has given us. How to keep humans breeding. How else could Megan Fox be with Shia LaBeouf? (Although, it's just a rumor.)
Sure, there are other species out there, like the peacocks, that if they don't got a big colorful tail no female would look at them. But I think that the human species took it into reverse. Instead of the males having to be this all time glory beautiful thing, it's the female.
I have never seen a guy with a female that's not up to his level of looks. At the most, if the guy is an 8 then the least he'll go for is a 7, MAYBE even a 6. Perhaps it is that guys are more shallow, or perhaps it's that they choose into consideration who they are going to mate with and how good looking their children may end up. Again, I'm not saying that all men are shallow and that women are not, this is just an observation.
I believe that biology and evolution plays a huge role right down to attraction. |
